Union Hospital Emergency Project

You can help make a difference...

Union Hospital is seeking support of its $17.7 million Lauren Emergency Center, which opened in March 2016 and offers a more patient-focused treatment experience. The former ER was designed in 1992 to accommodate 33,000 patient visits annually. Last year, 42,000 patients were treated in the ER. That annual growth of 1% to 2% annually is expected to continue in the coming years. This important project will measurably impact the health and welfare of the Tuscarawas Valley for years to come.

How you can help...

This new facility, like other past additions, has been built on a tradition of community support. Our goal is to raise at least $5 million from donations, and will depend on the generosity of businesses and families like yours. Donations can be made in several forms, including outright gifts and multi-year pledges. You may even wish to take advantage of the many naming opportunities - honoring donor families, businesses or even as a memorial tribute to loved ones.

Who to contact...

If you would like to discuss a possible donation, or would like more information, please contact Monte Ball, Union Hospital's Director of Fund Development. He will gladly explain the project details. You can contact Monte at 330‑602‑0789.
Or you can email Monte at monteb@unionhospital.org.
